Jake Shields wants to “break” Tyron Woodley in their fight at UFC 161.

Jake Shields vs. Tyron Woodley is a great example of a fight that is probably going down in an alternate universe where Strikeforce is still alive, and Nick Diaz is fine with Jake Shields fighting at 170. I miss Strikeforce. I really do. Do you? Yeah, you do.

Now both of these elite, former upper-echelon Strikeforce dudes are battling it out in the Octagon come UFC 161, and while Shields has gone 3-2-1 over his UFC tenure, Woodley is a scary monster of a man who just knocked out Jay HIeron in a little over thirty seconds.

This, my friends, is just yet another is a long list of great welterweight fights. My god, that division.

Thanks to Rick Lee for the vid!
