It’s one week until UFC 162, so let’s go back to 2006 to watch “Anderson’s Elbow”

The story goes like this: Anderson Silva’s trainers wouldn’t give in and help Anderson train a reverse elbow he saw in the movie Ong Bak: The Thai Warrior, so he had his wife hold pillows and he trained the move hundreds of times in his living room in secret. Then, Anderson went on to Cage Rage to fight Tony Frykland: if Anderson won this, he would be going to the UFC. Well, he won, he won big, and it’s known as “the elbow.”
