Top UFC Bantamweight Brad Pickett will be making his Flyweight debut at UFC Fight Night 37 on March 8th in his home town of London, England. Pickett will be thrown right in the fire in his 125 pound debut, as he will be facing off against top Flyweight Ian McCall.
The 35 year Pickett is known for having a granite chin and one punch knockout power, however, he has been struggling as of late, going 1-2 in his last three fights; the two losses coming against Michael McDonald and Eddie Wineland and the win by split-decision against Mike Easton.
As for McCall, he has been a staple of the Flyweight division for quite some time. McCall was said to be the number one Flyweight in the world coming into the UFC in 2012, but has struggled, going 1-2-1 in the promotion. McCall does hold notable wins over Darrell Montague and Jussier da Silva and most recently, got his first UFC win over Iliarde Santos at UFC 163.
The Fight Night card will be streamed on the UFC’s new subscription service and will be headlined by Alexander Gustafsson vs. Jimi Manuwa.
