Here’s an explanation of the Von Flue Choke that got OSP the win last night

I don’t mean to sound like ‘that guy,’ but the Von Flue Choke is not some amazing, just-invented maneuver. If you train, you should know this! It’s my personal go-to to make the dude on the bottom uncomfortable and let go of the guillotine. I use it to get into a better position as well. Rarely do I ever submit someone with it. As Joe Lauzon said, you only get subbed by the Von Flue when you are stubborn.

Still, if you don’t know it – learn it. It’s a fantastic move to have in your toolbelt.
