Heavyweight Rivals Chi Lewis-Parry and Xavier Vigney Square Off in GLORY 33 SuperFight Series Rematch

GLORY, the world’s premier kickboxing league, has announced three new match-ups for the organization’s first visit to the Garden State on Friday, Sept. 9 when Sun National Bank Center in Trenton, NJ hosts GLORY 33 New Jersey and GLORY 33 SuperFight Series.

The co-headline bout of GLORY 33 SuperFight Series, airing live and exclusively on UFC Fight Pass at 8:30 p.m. ET, showcases heavyweight rivals battling for the second time in as many years.

Maintaining momentum after his knockout of Maurice Greene in July is 6’9″ British bruiser“Chopper” Chi Lewis-Parry (7-1, 3 KO), currently ranked No. 9, taking on the man who defeated him last year, No. 7 ranked Xavier “X-Man” Vigney (10-1, 8 KO).

In their first meeting at GLORY 21 San Diego last May, Vigney earned the TKO victory over Lewis-Parry in the final round of a one-night, four-man Heavyweight Qualification Tournament.

GLORY previously announced the middleweight title tilt between reigning GLORY World Champion Simon”Bad Bwoy” Marcus (44-2-2, 24 KO) of Canada and 25-year-old Dutch-kickboxing phenom Jason “Psycho” Wilnis (28-6-1, 7 KO), as well as the Super Bantamweight Grand Prix quarterfinal bout between former Bellator MMA strawweight champion Zoila “Warrior Princess” Frausto (4-0, 2 KO) and dangerous German boxerDaniela Graf (23-4-1, 2 KO).

No. 8 ranked welterweight Francois “Bang Bang” Ambang (16-6, 6 KO) gives Mexican prospect Daniel “La Maquina” Morales a chance at redemption after falling short in their first encounter, while GLORY newcomers Rami Ibrahim and David Moore face off at 140 pounds to round out the GLORY 33 SuperFight Series card.
