So it looks like we are going to get a bit of a break in between GLORY events as GLORY 13 went down last weekend and GLORY 14 isn’t until March 8th, which seems like an awfully long time for a promotion that was beginning to pick up some steam with the television ratings. GLORY 14 was announced today and will go down in Zagreb, Croatia in conjunction with Orsat Zovko, Mirko Cro Cop’s manager. That of course means that Mirko Cro Cop Filipovic will be appearing as the main event on the card against none other than Remy Bonjasky.
It’s a rematch fro 2002, which is interesting, but Bonjasky has not looked the same since his return and there is actually talk of this being Bonjasky’s retirement bout due to how poor his eyesight has gotten and fear of further damaging it after having four detached retinas.
