Number two ranked Welterweight Rory MacDonald will meet number nine ranked Tarec Saffiedine on Saturday, October 4th at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Canada. The two will headline UFC Fight Night 54 on FOX Sports 1.
Before UFC Fight Night 54, take a look back at Rory MacDonald’s last fight against Demian Maia which took place at UFC 170. MacDonald was suffocated by Maia’s top game early, losing round one, but managed to mount a comeback, keeping the fight standing and picking Maia apart on the feet. In the end, MacDonald would come away with the unanimous decision victory.
