Fourth ranked UFC middleweight Luke Rockhold meets second ranked Lyoto Machida in the main event of UFC on FOX 15. The event will take place on Saturday, April 18th at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
Before the former Strikeforce middleweight champion in Rockhold meets the former UFC light heavyweight champion in Machida, let’s take a look back at Rockhold’s second ever bout inside of the octagon.
Following a loss in his UFC debut to Vitor Belfort in May of 2013, Rockhold came back strong against a then highly rated Costas Philippou. It didn’t take long for Rockhold to finish this one, catching Philippou with a vicious body kick to end the fight in just over two minutes.
