Free Fight: Rafael dos Anjos vs. Donald Cerrone

Although you may have forgotten, Rafael dos Anjos was the last man to defeat Donald Cerrone, all the way back in August of 2013. Since then, Cerrone has gone on a spectacular 7-fight winning streak, while Dos Anjos has gone 3-1 with wins over Benson Henderson and Nate Diaz, his lone defeat coming via unanimous decision to undefeated Khabib Nurmagomedov, who happens to be Cerrone’s next opponent.

Dos Anjos, on the other hand, will be looking to capture UFC gold and will take on UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis in the main event of UFC 185.

Going back to his fight against Cerrone, Dos Anjos was able to frustrate the uncharacteristically tentative Cerrone on the feet and come away with a unanimous decision victory.
