Free Fight: Mark Hunt vs. Roy Nelson

UFC Heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez was forced to withdraw from his title fight with Fabricio Werdum at UFC 180 with a knee injury, so in steps Mark Hunt.

Hunt, who is ranked fourth in the UFC’s Heavyweight division, will now meet Werdum for the interim Heavyweight title in the main event of UFC 180. Hunt has gone 5-1-1 in his last seven bouts which includes knockout victories over Ben Rothwell, Stefan Struve and Roy Nelson and a decision win over Cheick Kongo.

In his most recent bout, Hunt became the second man to ever knockout Roy Nelson. Not only did Hunt knock Nelson out, but he hit his signature walk-off knockout, causing Nelson to crumple to the canvas face first.
