Free Fight: Jose Aldo vs. Chan Sung Jung

UFC Featherweight champion Jose Aldo will be meeting number one contender Chad Mendes for the second time at UFC 179 on October 25th in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In their 2012 meeting at UFC 142, Aldo viciously knocked Mendes out with a knee with just one second remaining in the first round.

Since defeating Mendes, Aldo has defended his title three more times, defeating Frankie Edgar, Chan Sung Jung and Ricardo Lamas consecutively.

Before Aldo vs. Mendes II takes place, take a look back at Aldo’s UFC 163 bout against Chan Sung Jung a.k.a “The Korean Zombie.” Aldo maintained control of the fight with Jung for the better part of four rounds; and in the fourth round Jung would dislocate his shoulder. Aldo would take advantage, finishing the fight via TKO.
