Free Fight: Holly Holm vs. Angela Hayes

Undefeated top women’s bantamweight prospect Holly Holm will be making her UFC debut in the co-main event of UFC 184. Holm, currently ranked 13th in the UFC’s women’s bantamweight division, will be meeting 12th ranked Raquel Pennington.

In her most recent outing, Pennington submitted up-and-comer Ashlee Evans-Smith via bulldog choke with just one second remaining in round one, rendering her unconscious.

Holm, on the other hand, finished Juliana Werner in the fifth round via head kick and follow up punches at Legacy Fighting Championship 30.

Before, Holm and Pennington square off at UFC 184, let’s take a look back at Holm’s 2013 bout at Fresquez Productions where she met Anglea Hayes. Holm had finished her five previous fights, all via knockout; Hayes, however, would make it to the judges’ scorecards, but would still fall short to Holm via unanimous decision.
