Free Fight: Chad Mendes vs. Clay Guida

Chad Mendes will meet UFC Featherweight champion Jose Aldo for the second time in the main event of UFC 179 on October 25th.

In their first meeting Mendes fell short, being knocked out in round one. This was Mendes’ one and only loss in his professional MMA career. Since the 2012 loss to Aldo at UFC 142 Mendes has won five straight, with four of those victories coming by way of knockout.

With UFC 179 just over two weeks away, take a look back at Mendes’ third round TKO victory over Clay Guida. This marked the first time that Guida has ever been finished by knockout in his 11 year career.
