Former UFC Lightweight champion Benson Henderson will step into the cage at UFC Fight Night 49 against fifth ranked Rafael dos Anjos.
Henderson has won two straight since losing the belt to Anthony Pettis just a year ago. Included in those two victories is a split decision victory over former Strikeforce Lightweight champion Josh Thomson.
Most recently, Henderson defeated 13th ranked Rustam Khabilov via fourth round submission just over two months ago. This marked the first time in over four years (10 fights), that Henderson had finished an opponent.
