For those of us who were on that list, you know the one, the list of television carriers in the US that were up in the air about Fox Sports 1 being carried, we can breathe a sigh of a relief as apparently Fox has come to an agreement with a few of them to carry Fox Sports 1 starting on Saturday when it launches with UFC Fight Night. That means that those with DirecTV, Time Warner, and DiSH Network will all be carrying Fox Sports 1 starting on its launch.
This is good news for the UFC who is once again moving its programming from one channel to the next, this time moving from the often-forgotten about Fuel TV to Fox Sports 1. As a DirecTV subscriber I’m pretty happy that I’ll be able to see UFC Fight Night on my television in my living room this Saturday, as opposed to having to go somewhere else or watch it on a screen in the dark, full of shame.
