Oh Floyd, what can’t you do with your piles of money? Apparently Floyd Mayweather, Team Mayweather and Mayweather Promotions have an interest in the world of MMA right now. No, Boxing isn’t dying, but that doesn’t mean that they can’t branch out a little bit into other realms of making piles of cash. According to a recent interview, Floyd sees some potential with MMA and would be interested in adding a few MMA fighters into his mix.
“I want to promote MMA fighters also. We are looking to promote MMA fighters, so it’s the first time you’re hearing it … Al Haymon is looking to manage MMA fighters. Even though Al Haymon hasn’t came on record and said it, but I want Al to manage MMA fighters. I think I can take it to the next level.
“I don’t mind doing business with Dana White. Dana White’s a cool guy. I’ve been knowing Dana before he got involved with the MMA.”
