Fabio Maldonado Replaces Junior Dos Santos Against Stipe Miocic

We found out yesterday that Junior Dos Santos was forced to pull out of a May 31st bout against Stipe Miocic at The Ultimate Fighter 3 Finale, leaving the event without a headliner. Well, it looks like we’ll get a slugfest after all with Fabio Maldonado stepping in for the injured JDS in the Heavyweight showcase. Fabio Maldonado is, of course, a crazy brawler who has been involved in some epic scraps over the past few years.

While this is definitely a trade-off for fans, Fabio Maldonado still brings “it” in the ring with him and should put forth an entertaining scrap against Stipe Miocic for the Brazilian fans.
