Not Even World Series of Fighting Wants Rousimar Palhares

I think when it comes to major and major-ish MMA promotions in America it looks like Rousimar Palhares is completely out of luck. The roll call of promotions which he won’t be competing for is now; UFC, Bellator and World Series of Fighting. WSOF seemed like his last chance at picking up a decent payday for fighting here in the United States, but it turns out that Ray Sefo and the team at WSOF don’t believe that Palhares would be a good fit and that he should seek professional help.

Damn. Well, I guess there is always BAMMA or OneFC for Palhares, right?

“His past is not good,” explained Sefo. “The team and I have talked about it. He needs to probably seek some sort of help or talk to somebody, a psychiatrist or whatever, that can help him get away from hurting fighters.

“Until he does that, we won’t look at signing him anytime soon or anything like that.”
