Eddie Wineland gets knocked out by Johnny Eduardo is a huge upset

He went from fighting for the title two fights ago, to being put on a FOX Sports 2 Fight Night prelim against a guy who hasn’t fought in over 2 years in Johnny Eduardo. Now, he is a guy who just got knocked out by the Nova Uniao muay thai coach.

Who knows where the 29-year-old Wineland can go from here. Bantamweight is not a deep division, but he’s also proving that he can’t really get it done with those ranked and now, seemingly, unranked fighters.

Wineland was the #4 bantamweight, but where does he go from here?

Odds are, at a +735 underdog, this was the biggest upset ever. Bigger than Sera over GSP?
