Of course Matt Brown guarantees that he’ll knock out Johny Hendricks

If you’re Matt Brown, who wants a title shot, of course you’re going to say he can knock out Johny Hendricks. Maybe he can? But here’s the thing – I don’t think Matt Brown should even be fighting for a belt anymore, I think he should be constantly fed middle-of-the-road competition. Let his winning streak grow to 10-11, put him in exciting fights on Fight Night cards, this is the type of guy you can work with to build an audience.

Seriously.

But still, it looks like Brown wants that title shot, and he believes that he can win, via the Great MMA Debate podcast:

I definitely don’t think it would go to decision.  Like I’ve said 100 times, I’m not going to hit him that many times and not knock him out. He’s not going to stay on his feet if I hit him as many times as Robbie Lawlerdid.  I’m a really accurate striker. …

I hate to eat my own words because I hit Erick Silva a lot of times and he didn’t go down and it went three rounds, but I’ve got to get my groove back.  I can knock him out, I guarantee it.
