Conor McGregor Stars in a Potato Chip Ad

Winslow Townson-USA TODAY Sports

Conor McGregor is living proof that if you promote yourself correctly as a UFC fighter that you can make money. I mean, there is just no way around it. Sure, Conor McGregor is a good fighter, but he’s also only had two UFC fights thus far and everyone knows who he is and is talking about him. That wasn’t the UFC’s doing, not by a long shot. The UFC takes a hands-off approach to promoting fighters and very few take control like McGregor has.

The latest testament to Conor McGregor’s success is an ad for King’s Potato Crisps, which we’d call potato chips here in the States. It’s tongue-in-cheek, of course, featuring Conor McGregor and all, kind of funny and cool to see him making some cash for himself. If only every UFC fighter worth a damn could do this kind of stuff, right?
