Look, it probably wasn’t a great idea to book Chael Sonnen for Metamoris 4. It was brilliant, in a way, because he was in the press, but there also seem to be a lot of hurdles in the way of Chael Sonnen making the fight. We’ve heard that Randy Couture is on deck in case Chael Sonnen can’t make it, but c’mon. I don’t even know.
Chael Sonnen released a tweet implying that he’ll make his match at Metamoris 4, but at what cost? I guess we’ll have to wait with baited breath for Metamoris 4 to see if Chael Sonnen shows up, but I don’t know if this is the kind of press the MMA world’s darling grappling competition wanted.
