Chad Mendes TKOs Clay Guida in Round Three

People always tell me how much of an exciting fighter that Clay Guida is and I’ve always had problems with that assessment. Is it because he has long hair? Is it because he likes metal? Is it because he bops around a lot during his fights? He’s been in a few fun scraps, but the reality of Clay Guida is that he isn’t always entertaining, he just moves a lot. It can lead to great fights, it can also lead to stinkers.

Tonight’s bout with Chad Mendes was a fight that I was kind of dreading for just that reason. I had zero expectations for it and it turned out to be pretty fun. Mendes was able to put Clay Guida down for the count in the third round with a pretty impressive combination. Goodnight, sweet long-haired Prince. Source, ZProphet.
