Cat Zingano Crushes Meisha Tate, Moves on to Challenge Ronda Rousey

There are a lot of stakes on the line tonight at the Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale, but one of the biggest ones had to be in the bout between Meisha Tate and Cat Zingano, where both women were competing for a chance to challenge UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey, as well as go on to coach the next season of The Ultimate Fighter.

Tate and Zingano brought the heat, showing that not only should Women’s MMA be a widely accepted thing, but in cases like this, it can be the best fight on the card, hands down. Tate brought the fight to Zingano early on, but it became very clear that Cat Zingano was on a different level and looking to bring the violence in a way that was very un-ladylike. Extremely entertaining scrap between the two ladies before a brutal series of knees from Zingano put Tate’s lights out and Zingano walked off knowing that she was going on to challenge Ronda Rousey.
