Wow, sometimes the UFC announces new fights and they are cool, but not cool enough to make me go “wow.” But then sometimes they announce fights that have explosive potential and could be downright incredible. That is definitely the case when it comes to Matt Brown vs. Carlos Condit, which is set to go down at UFC on Fox 9 on December 14th in Sacramento. This card is already stacked with Josh Thomson vs. Anthony Pettis, Urijah Faber vs. Michael McDonald and now Carlos Condit vs. Matt Brown.
When it comes to the Welterweight division a bout between Condit and Brown is huge, as Condit is looking to earn his way back into title contention while Matt Brown is looking to earn himself a title shot, which seems well-deserved. One would have to think a win over former UFC Interim Welterweight Champion Carlos Condit would push him into a bout for the Welterweight Championship. At least we hope.
