Carlos Condit thinks the New Mexico Athletic Commission is ‘amateur hour’

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again – life is all about nepotism. Very few people can pull themselves up by their bootstraps and make a name for themselves. You know the old saying, it’s not what you know, it’s who you know, and it seems like the New Mexico State Athletic Commission is filled with family and college drinking buddies, because Carlos Condit says its amateur hour over there to Ariel Helwani:

“Unfortunately, it’s amateur hour over there (New Mexico), I hate to say it but that commission has a lot of nepotism, and ‘hey, this guy is my cousin. He is going to have this job,’ sort of thing going on.”

“There is not anybody who is necessarily qualified to be in those positions. I don’t know. That is my opinion.”
