Cain Velasquez Doesn’t Want to be Voted Upon for EA UFC’s Cover

Cain Velasquez is without a doubt the kingpin of the UFC Heavyweight division right now. There is just no denying that, as he has now overcome Junior Dos Santos twice and was the man to dispatch of the Brock Lesnar era in a big way. So there have been questions as to why Cain Velasquez isn’t a part of the fan voting to see who gets the second spot on the EA UFC game cover with Jon Jones.

The truth seems to be that Cain Velasquez has had his feelings hurt by not automatically being on the cover like Jon Jones is. [link]

“I just think that Cain felt that he’s the heavyweight champion, and he doesn’t want to be in a vote to see if he should be on the cover. I think that was his (mindset), and what am I going to do about that? Am I going to disagree with him? He’s like, ‘I’m the heavyweight champion. I’ve got to be voted on whether I should be on the cover of the game? The heavyweight champ? If you don’t think I should be, then I don’t want to be in a vote.’ I can’t blame him for that.”
