It’s the Fox Sports 1 curse, right? At least that’s kind of how we refer to everything UFC since the move to Fox Sports 1. Last night’s UFC ratings are kind of okay, kind of not, though. It shows that the hardcore UFC fan base really isn’t into the Wednesday night UFC cards, that or the hardcore UFC fan base is well under 1 million at this point, which it very well could be.
On average 263,000 people were watching the prelims, then 641,000 were watching the main card (which is sub-Bellator at this point), while The Ultimate Fighter got 595,000 viewers. Last week’s Bellator event had 642,000 viewers, which was a significant drop. Maybe it’s the weather? Bellator, GLORY and UFC see ratings drops in the same week. Then again, who wants to spend seven hours watching a UFC event on a weekday?
UFC TV Ratings from last night: Prelims (263k), Main Card (641k), TUF (595k)
