BJ Penn will be training for the 3rd Frankie Edgar fight with Jose Aldo

It’s come back full circle, to the man who promoted BJ to his black belt in BJJ in 1998 – his coach Andre Pederneiras. He will be training Baby jay for the third Frankie Edgar fight, alongside Jose Aldo, and I can’t be more thrilled. It’s about time BJ got back into a ‘real camp’ after milling about Hawaii for his camps of late, and it’s showed.

“It was a honor to receive this invitation, B.J. and his brother are really close. He is really excited and motivated with his fight against Edgar. It’s going to be a great opportunity for me to show my work as a coach to the audience outside of Brazil, which is not used to see my work closely.”

“We’ve studied Edgar’s game a lot for Aldo’s fight,” he said, “so I believe there’s no better place and sparrings better for B.J. to come back in great fashion and motivated.”

Say it with me: YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
