BJ Penn Drops to Featherweight to Coach TUF 19 Opposite of Frankie Edgar

If you’ve been wondering what BJ Penn has been up to, wonder no more, as Penn will be returning to the UFC cage to square off for a third time against Frankie Edgar. Yes, that’s right, Frankie Edgar yet again, this time at Edgar’s new weight class of 145lbs. That means that BJ Penn will be dropping in weight, as a guy who used to fight at Welterweight that is a big deal.

Both men will be the coaches for the next season of The Ultimate Fighter, following up on this season featuring Miesha Tate and Ronda Rousey. As for the fight itself, that won’t happen until April of next year, which is really a bummer, but it gives BJ a chance to drop down in weight, which is a good thing, right?
