Ben Askren is back in action, and despite an early takedown from Bakhtiyar Abbasov, Askren was never really in trouble. He needs a serious up-tick in competition or he’ll be stuck in the minor leagues forever. I was really hoping he would’ve gone to WSOF to take on their welterweights, but alas, money talks and bullshit is bullshit, so the guy who could likely be UFC welterweight champ is stuck in Singapore doing this to no-names:
