If you didn’t know, Joe Rogan does a live commentary podcast along with UFC shows that he’s not commenting on cageside. This week, he called UFC Fight Night 44 alongside Bellator’s Jimmy Smith, and at the beginning of the podcast, let it slip that Jimmy Smith was from ‘Spike MMA.’
Could this be the great whitewash of Bjorn Rebney? If so, I like it. Spike MMA is instantly more marketable than Bellator. No one knows what Bellator is. Give me Spike MMA! I’m not one to cheer for billion dollar companies, but let’s do this.
