Bellator 134 entitled the “British Invasion” took place on Friday, February 27th at the Mohegan Sun Arena.
The event featured American vs. British fighters and was headlined by a Bellator light heavyweight title bout between Emanuel Newton and Liam McGeary. In a back-and-forth battle, McGeary was able to take advantage of Newton on the feet and work off of his back in order to earn himself a unanimous decision victory and a Bellator strap.
