Jon Jones has gotten a lot of flak over the recent fights for some of the techniques that he utilizes. Some are mildly controversial, like the oblique kicks and shoulder torque, while others are flat out illegal like his eye pokes. The question here is; is Jon Jones intentionally poking opponents in the eye? Only Jon Jones can answer that and he seems to be defensive, as we’d all suspect he would be over something like this.
Bas Rutten was asked on Inside MMA if he felt that Jon Jones was a dirty fighter and he answer was simple; yes. He claims that Jon Jones is a calm and collected fighter who is aware of his actions in the ring, who fights deliberately. How could he not know that holding his hand on his opponent’s face would poke the guy in the eye multiple times? Just crazy stuff.
