If you were sitting there, having an anxiety attack about the possibility of Chael Sonnen not being able to compete for the UFC Fight Night event next week then I would really ask you to take a few deep breathes and to ween yourself off of the UFC because that is not healthy for anyone. But, in case you were actually worried that Sonnen wouldn’t get licensed to fight in Boston, things have apparently all been cleared up and Sonnen is ready to go for next week in Massachusetts.
This means that Chael Sonnen vs. Mauricio “Shogun” Rua is all set to go and that we’ll see some form of destruction in the ring next weekend. This is a big relief for the UFC which has had some issues acquiring licenses for fighters in Boston due to how stringent the Massachusetts State Boxing Commission is.
