Anthony Pettis injures knee, the Josh Thomson fight has been delayed

If this was the fall of 2011 I would certainly bring up the fact that Anthony Pettis took an arrow to the knee. Do you get it? Because of Skyrim? Arrow to the knee? Anthony Pettis, injured knee? No? Someone out there will appreciate that dated joke, so just back off.

So the fight is delayed indefinitely, and in its stead, we will get Johnson vs Benavidez II, the flyweight title fight, being shifted from the Nov. 30 card in Las Vegas, then the lightweight matchup between Gray Maynard and Nate Diaz will move from the co-main event to main event slot of the TUF finale, where there feud aptly began.

Interesting. Verrrrry interesting. I wonder if this reoccurring knee injury will hinder Pettis for the rest of his career?
