Anderson Silva Tops UFC 168 Payroll

Ah yes, the best part about shows happening in Las Vegas is that we immediately get a glimpse at the reported figures for UFC events and UFC 168 is no different. While Anderson Silva didn’t walk away as UFC Middleweight Champion and instead was brought away on a stretcher, he still was wheeled out with the biggest reported payday at UFC 168.

The Champion, Chris Weidman, walked away with the second biggest payday, highlighting what looks to be a brand new contract that was on display at UFC 168 and should only grow as he grows as a Champion. Josh Barnett comes in next, followed by Ronda Rousey with Jim Miller tailing out the high end before the drop-offs come.
