Anderson Silva has no plans for a Weidman trilogy

And why would he? He’s been knocked out and received a shattered leg for his troubles. But still, the fact that the first two fights both ended in such insane ways leads the fans to think that a trilogy is a possibility if Anderson perhaps gets a win or two and Weidman holds onto the belt.

Anderson doesn’t care about it though. He’s interested in a Diaz fight, and said this about Weidman to Globo:

Rematch against Chris Weidman is one thing that is not in my plans. He has beaten me twice, everyone has seen. Lyoto has a chance to fight him, we also Jacare, who is coming and seeking his path. Let’s hope these athletes succeed the space inside them and suddenly the UFC fight for the belt, great champions and be able to bring big wins for Brazil – examined the former UFC champion.
