Anderson Silva just made some basic mistakes against Weidman, it’s normal

Well, Anderson, part of your basic mistake against Weidman was closing your eyes and wobbling your knees, but yeah, I guess I get what you’re saying. All I really hope for is that you enter the Matrix like Neo with a grudge and knockout Weidman with a vengeance. I don’t even dislike Weidman, but I want to see that happen.

Anderson went on Sportv to discuss his last fight, his mistakes, and what’s in store.
“My mistakes in that fight, and that’s the first time I’m saying this, were basic mistakes. I did everything I had to do except hit him. I didn’t counterattack. When I stopped with my feet parallel, I should have hit him and walked one step behind. I didn’t do that. I saw my mistakes and I’m working on that to train for this next fight.”

“It’s going to be a tough fight, and it won’t last too long if it stays standing.”
