Yeaaah, so it’s time to get pumped up for Alistair Overeem stepping back into the Octagon. Alistair Overeem will fight next on September 5th at Foxwoods in Connecticut against Ben Rothwell. Dana White was not too high on Alistair Overeem’s last performance against Frank Mir, but one has to feel that a fight like this is great for The Reem to get back into the good graces of the UFC brass.
Ben Rothwell has looked a lot better of later, shedding some pounds and taking the sport more seriously. Rothwell is an incredibly fun to watch fighter who isn’t afraid to stand and bang, so I can only imagine some fireworks going down between Overeem and Rothwell. This is a good fight. This will serve as the co-main with the main event being Gegard Mousasi vs. Jacare Souza. This card is looking great.
