Alexander Shlemenko vs. Doug Marshall on Bellator’s Sept. 7th Event

Spinning backfists are going to be flying on September 7th at the Mohegan Sun arena in Connecticut, that much is pretty much assured as Alexander Shlemenko is primed to defend the Bellator Middleweight Championship against former WEC brawler Doug Marshall. This event is primed to also feature the finals of the first season of Bellator’s Fight Master program, so it is three hours long, also on a Saturday.

This will be their last event that isn’t on a Friday for a while, as Bellator will be moving to Friday nights this fall. It will also feature Joe Warren’s return to the ring against Nick Kirk.
