Alexander Shlemenko taps Brennan Ward to defend his Bellator middleweight strap

What a fight! Brennan Ward looks like he’ll have a bright future in MMA, he’s gutsy, has solid all-around skills and can take a shot, but Shelemnko is just too much. Shlemenko is too much for just about anyone, and even though Ward had Shlemenko in multiple bad positions, taking his back and threatening face cranks, the Russian stayed calm and went to the body.

The shots added up, and what was once a bouncy Ward became flat-footed and stiff. It then led to this replay by Zprophet:
