Alexander Gustafsson Makes Easy Work of Jimi Manuwa in Round Two

Alexander Gustafsson vs. Jimi Manuwa was a fight that was a huge deal for Jimi Manuwa, a shot at the big time, but for Alexander Gustafsson it was kind of a bummer. I’m not going to say that Gustafsson belongs a few levels above Manuwa or anything, but he did just have a close fight with Jon Jones. Gustafsson was working Manuwa over early in the first round, getting him to the mat, but Manuwa came back in a big way to end out the round.

Round two saw some good action from both men, but ultimately it was Alexander Gustafsson being Alexander Gustafsson that ended the fight with a pretty crazy flurry of strikes that put Manuwa down and out. He calls out Jon Jones after the fight and we absolutely agree, give this man a title shot. GIF from ZProphet.
