Microsoft has decided to the cut the price of the Xbox One yet again in the US, just in time for the holiday season. The system will now be $50 bucks cheaper, making it $349. The PS4 is still sitting at $399, and it doesn’t look like Sony will budge on adjusting the price anytime soon.
The deal comes into effect on November 2 and finishes January 3, 2015, with the console retailing for $349. The price cut applies to all bundles, including Sunset Overdrive, Assassin’s Creed Unity and the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare offer the company announced earlier.
The current deal is for the U.S. only, with a spokesperson for Microsoft telling Eurogamer: “Decisions about promotional and pricing strategies are made at a local level and based on market context. We have nothing more to announce at this time.” The Xbox One launched in November last year and got a price cut in February in the UK. In September it got another price cut.
