Uncharted Movie Will begin Filming in early 2015
The Uncharted movie will begin filming in early 2015, according to the movie’s director, Seth Gordon. With that said however, the casting team is still searching for a potential actor to play Nathan Drake, the leading role. Mark Wahlberg and Nathan Fillion were rumored to become the leading explorer, but that never panned out. Speaking with entertainment site zap2it, Gordon discussed how crucial these next few months will be in finding the right actor.
“I want it to be a great actor,” Gordon said. “That’s number one, and then if it’s someone who has an actual jaw, that’s even better. The game is so well done that you need it to live up to that. There’s no way we’d do the inverse of that where it’s somebody famous who can’t [act].”
Uncharted is one of Sony’s biggest IP’s, and it will be judged critically when it finally sees the light of day.
