Troy Baker Discusses the Future of The Last of Us

The future of the Last of Us is still up in the air, but that hasn’t stopped the game’s lead voice actor from contemplating what the future has in store for the franchise.

“There’s nothing on the horizon right now,” Baker told VideoGamer.com earlier yesterday when asked whether a sequel was in the works. “It’s to the credit of Neil and Bruce and everyone at Naughty Dog for creating a story and a world that is so rich and immersive that people want more of the story. That’s a really hard thing to accomplish.”

Naughty Dog community strategist Arne Meyer has already come out and stated that all future DLC for the game will be for it’s online component, and won’t be for the single-player portion.  Most of the team has moved their workload over from the Last of Us to Uncharted 4, but a possible sequel would still be welcomed.
