Sting Announced as Preorder Bonus for WWE2K15

On October 28th 2K Games is prepared to launch their very first next generation wrestling game, WWE2K15, to the world. Last year’s WWE2K14 was their first year with the WWE license and not much felt that different, but they are promising a bit of an overhaul this time around. We’ll see.

Last night on WWE Monday Night Raw they aired a promo spot for WWE2K15 announcing that Sting (Steve Borden) will be a pre-order bonus for the game. It’ll be two versions of Sting; the late 80’s/early 90’s blonde-haired surfer Sting and then the late 90’s to now “Crow” Sting. This was a huge deal to wrestling fans who have been waiting to see Sting work with WWE for, well, his entire career now. As we’ll remember, this was also how The Ultimate Warrior’s involvement with the WWE again was rekindled, by 2K Sports helping to get the conversation started and Triple H doing the leg work to carry it over to the WWE.

WWE2K15 launches October 28th for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
