Ryse: Son of Rome Getting a PC Release

Take this for what it is, but Xbox One release title and Xbox One exclusive Ryse: Son of Rome by Crytek will be getting a PC release this fall. Ryse: Son of Rome is a hack-n-slash game that was noted for its graphics for an early-gen game, even if the frame rate and resolution were lower than anticipated in the end. A move to the PC will mean that Ryse: Son of Rome will be able to be played at what will hopefully be 60 frames per second and full HD.

In the press release announcing Ryse: Son of Rome on PC they discussed the game being able to handle 4k resolutions, so there’s a very good chance we’ll see 60fps and 1080p at least, if your rig can handle it. The boxed version will be distributed by Deep Silver and the digital version by Crytek themselves. There is no exact release date yet.
