I’ll be the first to admit when Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor was announced that I didn’t think anything of it. There have been Lord of the Rings video games before and outside of the Lego games they haven’t been that good. It’s hard to get a game with a popular, iconic license right, we’ve seen that since the dawn of licensed video games. WB Games is looking to change that impression with some of their latest offerings, with stuff like the Batman: Arkham games having a strong following and the Mad Max game coming out looking amazing, so Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor looks to follow in that tradition.
Shadow of Mordor actually looks rather incredible.
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor will be released on September 30th on PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360, Windows PC on October 1st.
