343 Industries has detailed a “Thank You” package that will be given to those who played The Master Chief Collection during it’s early troubled launch.
343 Industries studio head Bonnie Ross has outlined the team’s plan to compensate those who were affected by the various launch issues of the game. First, anyone who played Halo: The Master Chief Collection online since launch and through December 19, will be offered the following:
- One month of Xbox Live Gold
- Exclusive in-game nameplate
- Exclusive in-game avatar
A detailed FAQ has been posted to clear up any confusion.
Additionally, anyone who played the game during that period will get Halo 3: ODST for free, when it gets added to the collection.
343 Industries is also working on bringing more classic Halo 2 maps into Halo 2: Anniversary. Starting with “Relic”, which will be the first of those maps. “Relic” will be added in a free future patch. There will be a new patch released this week, so look out for it.
